Cebu Island Hopping Tour: Nalusuan & Hilutungan Marine Sanctuaries
We recently welcomed a traveler from the United States to MyCebuTrip.
And this time, the guest was traveling alone!
Since MyCebuTrip does not currently offer a dedicated one-person island hopping package, we explained the available options. The guest decided to proceed by paying the regular rate for two people.
The chosen itinerary was our classic Nalusuan & Hilutungan Island Hopping Tour, one of our standard Cebu island hopping courses.
First Stop: Nalusuan Island
Our tour departed directly from the pier right in front of the MyCebuTrip shop, and our first destination was Nalusuan Island.
Unfortunately, the photos taken on Nalusuan Island were not suitable for this blog post, so we will have to skip them this time.
After exploring the island, we headed to Nalusuan Marine Sanctuary for our first snorkeling session.
Snorkeling at Nalusuan Marine Sanctuary
The weather in Cebu was excellent that day.
After several consecutive days of good weather, underwater visibility at Nalusuan Marine Sanctuary was fantastic.

The video is a little long, but it gives you a good idea of why Nalusuan Marine Sanctuary is a popular destination for families traveling with children or elderly family members.
Lunch on the Boat and a Visit to Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary
After leaving Nalusuan, we enjoyed lunch on the boat as we made our way to Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary.
Upon arriving at Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary, it was time for our second snorkeling session.
Please note that this tour does not include landing on Hilutungan Island. Instead, we enjoy snorkeling in the surrounding marine sanctuary before continuing with the rest of the tour.
A Little Fishing Before Heading Back
After snorkeling, we enjoyed some handline fishing, a relaxing way to round off the day’s island-hopping adventure.
